Ercan Aslan was born in 1970. In 1997; he graduated from Mimar Sinan University Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Photography. He has been working as a photo journalist at Milliyet Gazette since 1995. In 2003; he had participated to the seminars given to Turkish photo journalists by World Press Photo. In 2007, he had participated in the “Other Istanbul” exhibition with five photographers, especially Ara Güler, at “Ara Pacis” museum in Rome. He held his “Portraits from Turkish Cinema” exhibition at 15th Adana Altın Koza Film Festival in 2008 and at Adalar 6th Short Film Festival in 2009. In 2009, he held 5th World Water Forum “Culture coming with Water” exhibition at CRR. He is still teaching “Press Photographs” at Mimar Sinan University Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Photography and Yıldız Teknik University Department of Photograph and Video.
