PHOTO WORLD MEET IN BURSA
- THIS YEAR THE 4TH INTERNATIONAL BURSA PHOTOGRAPHY FESTIVAL UNDER THE THEME ‘LIVING TOGETHER’ WILL BRING TOGETHER CELEBRITIES FROM DIFFERENT CONTINENTS.
- MASTER PHOTOGRAPHERS LIKE PARK JONGWOO, CARLOS SPOTTORNO, SABIT KALFAGIL AND IZZET KERIBAR WILL SHARE THE MEMORIES AND EXPLAIN THEIR WORK.

BURSA – International Bursa Photography Festival (BursaFotoFest) under the theme ‘Living Together’ this year will be the fourth one. Between December 6th and 11th, 2014 photo enthusiasts will meet with photographers in Bursa. Park Jongwoo, Carlos Spottorno, Sabit Kalfagil and Izzet Keribar world-renowned photo artists will meet with photo enthusiasts in Bursa.

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Bursa City Council (BKK) and Bursa Photo Art Association (BUFSAD) in collaboration hold this year for the forth time International Bursa Photography Festival (BursaFotoFest) between December 6th and 11th, 2014. BursaFotoFest under the theme ‘Living Together’ will be held in Ataturk Congress Culture Center (Merinos AKKM) and will bring together hundreds of thousands of people around the art of photography.

The curator of the festival Hasan Senyuksel will organize several panel discussions, meetings, workshops, portfolio reviews. BursaFotoFest will host nearly 10 foreign artists including Chris Steele-Perkins from Magnum Photos (UK), Martin Roemers from Panos Pictures (The Netherlands) and Carlos Spottorno (Spain), Ron Haviv from VII Photo Agency (USA) and Park Jongwoo from South Korea. From Turkey there will be nearly 40 master photographers including Sabit Kalfagil, Izzet Keribar, Kamil Firat and Timurtas Onan. In the interviews, the master photographers will share their work and memories with photo enthusiasts. Also during the festival there will be held panel discussions, portfolio and workshops where the artists will meet with photo enthusiast.

4th International Bursa Photography Festival under the theme ‘Living Together’ will hold the international photo contest. Photo enthusiasts can apply on 2014.bursaphotofest.org address for the international photo contest till November the 20th. Participants can apply with a maximum of four photos and the competition jury members will be Prof. Dr. Sabit Kalfagil, Instructor Kamil Firat, Dr. Ceyhun Irgil, Neslisah Hanzade Erbey Kusku, Instructor Alper Bilsel, Bulent Suberk and Instructor Mustafa Bilge Satkin. According to international rules, the patronage number of the competition organized by BursaFotoFest is given by ‘United Photographers International’ (UPI).

The President of Bursa City Council Semih Pala said, “We organize one of the largest photo festivals of environmental geography. During the festival photographers and photography from different parts of the world will meet in Bursa.”
