He was born in Bursa in 1984. He finished in Faculty of Economy in 2008 and Photography Associate Degree in 2013. He started photography with dark room works in 2004 and from then on, he participated in many training works. He participated in every national and international photography contests that he found an opportunity. He has had more than 60 rankings and more than 300 exhibitions in the contests that he has participated in. With the exhibitions opened as the result of these contests, he had the opportunity to promote his photographs to national and international artists. As the result of points he had won in international contests, he has been deemed worthy of the titles “Artist FIAP (AFIAP) of International Photography Art Federation” in 2010 and “Excellence FIAP (EFIAP) of International Photography Art Federation” in 2012. Gürsel Egemen Ergin is the youngest one who has won EFIAP title in our country. In 2007, he became the member of Bursa Photographic Art Society (BUFSAD). In the years of 2009, 2011 and 2013, he was a member of the Board of Bursa Photographic Art Society (BUFSAD). In 2007, he presented his first personal exhibition named “Kent Günlüğü”. He has the first tour award of Sami Güner Cup with this project and another project named “Hayal İstanbul” in 2008 and 2012 and second tour award with his exhibition named “Güreş Bahane” in 2013. In 2008, he became the youngest photographer from Bursa that has been awarded in 14th Altın Kamera Photography Contest. He was chosen as the photographer of the year in the first Sille Sanart Sarayı Photography Contest with Invitation in 2011. In 2012, he opened his first personal exhibition in 2nd Bursa Photography Festival. He has participated in many project groups and he shared his photographs in group exhibitions and photography exhibitions realized as the result of those works.
