He was born on 20 September 1961 in Giresun. He graduated from Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA) Faculty of Medicine in 1984 and started working as Ear-Nose and Throat specialist in 1991.
He performed project works about silk worms, whirling dervishes, traditional Turkish handicrafts, camel wrestling, oil wrestling, swimming and diving trainings for children with physical and mental disabilities, migrant tribes in Anatolia and Gilles Carnival (Belgium).
He opened various exhibitions in and out of the country and performed slide shows. Lots of his photographs gained value with various national and international achievement awards. He took place as a juror in national and international photography competitions.
