Yusuf Aslan

Yusuf Aslan graduated from Savaştepe Teachers’ School. He studied Journalism and Public Relations at Ankara Faculty of Economic and Commercial Sciences. He worked as a teacher in Sivas, Aydın and Germany. He is a member of Istanbul Photograph and Cinema Amateurs Association, Izmir Photo Art Association and Kusadasi Photograph and Cinema Association and he acted as the Chairman of the Board of Kusadasi Photograph and Cinema Association.

He made efforts to create visual memory in phenomena and events such as Van-Erciş earthquake, Gezi Park, Soma mine disaster, border and asylum seekers. Yusuf Aslan’s photos were published in the international press and finally his photo was published in Der Spigel’s cover.
